Alpine Legends
Operating from corporate offices in Stockholm with operations the Alps in winter and summer Alpine Legends is owned and managed by its five Swedish partners:Together with a team of 15 guides we organize tailor-made ski adventures as well as team building seminars and conferences for corporate clients and other groups. Our guides are specially selected for their knowledge of alpine activities and their experience of organizing all types of guided ski holidays. At least half of all our guides live all year round in different parts of the Alps.

Although mostly operating in the Alps, we also arrange guided group tours to other remote places such as the High Atlas of Morocco, The Rockies and Lapponia. Besides winter ski trips we offer summer season and early autumn adventure trips to the mountains, including hiking, MTB, river rafting and rock climbing with a taste of local culture, food and wine.
Classic Alpine Legends venues and activities include …
Courmayeur, Italy
In the Aosta Valley on the sunny side of Mont Blanc, is one of Italy’s best ski resorts – the picturesque village of Courmayeur, with excellent restaurants, bars and hotels. The skiing area is not the biggest in the Alps but offers some great skiing, mainly blue and red and a good selection of above average mountain restaurants which we make a habit of enjoying each winter. Our ski groups can also use the neighbouring lift system of La Thuile and La Rosiere, and accompanied by mountain guides, can experience the glaciers of Mont Blanc as well as heliskiing.
Engelberg, Switzerland
For many years we have been working with the wonderful resort village of Engelberg where we have built a special relationship with many of the resorts hotels, which also enables us to offer seminars, mountain meetings and kick-offs for big groups. We mix working and skiing during the day and always try to include a non-skiing activity such as Rodel, and a big gala dinner at one of the excellent restaurants you can find on the mountain. We also arrange non-skiers activities like curling, ice-skating or sports climbing, or even shopping in the nearby town of Luzern and, well visiting, a tour of Engelberg’s historic monastery, guided by monks!
Alpine Legends Ski Safaris
Ski Safaris are arranged mainly for groups of 6 to 12 guests. These sometimes consist of an ‘open’ freeride week where we travel around to find the most snow. On these trips we will be accompanied by a local mountain guide who specializes in off-piste skiing. The original idea of a Ski Safari is to take the clients from resort to resort, village to village or valley to valley without much more than their skis and a back pack of bare essentials. Thanks our years of experience we have a team of guides that know all the valleys, short cuts, and connections needed to make the trip as thrilling an experience as possible. This is the reason why we consider ourselves unique in this growing market. Our classic Ski Safari areas are Monterosa, Portes du Soleil, and the Tarentaise Valley or trips on the Swiss railway Glacier Express.
Prices for the different types of trip vary depending on time of year, the itinerary and characteristics of the program.
“Many thanks to you and the team for an excellently run conference last week. I have been to many of these types of events in my corporate travels and the work that Alpine Legends did for our team far exceeded any of my past experiences. Not only were you tight and accurate, but you all did it in a way that you treated us as partners and friends rather than simply clients”
