Having many years experience in other alpine resorts, we settled permanently in Samoëns in 2004. We have finally found what we consider to be the most beautiful and unique resort in the Alps. Samoëns is one of the largest ski areas in Europe with over 265km of piste including Flaine, Morillon, Les Carroz and Sixt. There are over 140 individual runs and one of the lowest ratios of beds to ski lifts meaning there are shorter queues and more time on the slopes. Dating from the 13th century, the medieval centre and its outstanding beauty have made it an award winning destination.
