Hotel Hubertushof is Stuben’s only 4-star hotel
Owned by the Grabner family since the late 1960’s Hotel Hubertushof has evolved into a modern cosmopolitan blend of old and the new; traditional Austrian charm and hospitality, sophisticated fine furnishings, culinary excellence and a relaxing atmosphere. Hotel Hubertushof accommodation
Hotel Hubertushof offers a wide choice of accommodation from well-appointed 15-18m˛ single rooms, 20-35m˛ double rooms and 32-70m˛ suites, including a wide variety of styles from traditional to modern including family friendly configurations, the 58m˛ Valeria suite (illustrated) and the luxurious Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Suite with special wellness bathroom and private sauna.
All hotel bedrooms are non-smoking and equipped with hair dryer, cosmetic mirror, safe, satellite TV, some with flat screen, Premiere TV, radio, direct dialling, fluffy bathrobes, sauna slippers, bath towels and a mini bar. Wireless Internet access is available in the hotel lobby and rooms.
Culinary excellence at Hotel Hubertushof
Traditional and international culinary delicacies begin with a generous breakfast buffet until 10:30am, daily afternoon snack at 4.00 pm and 5 course gourmet dinner with 5 main dishes including vegetarian options to choose from, salad from the buffet, a special selection of cheese and fine wines. There’s a special kids menu and young children can eat together with nanny at 6pm. The cooking is highly regarded by numerous hotel guides.
Take a seat for dinner in the recently renovated stylish main restaurant with splendid views of the village and surrounding mountains or, for a more traditional setting, dine in the original “Hubertusstube” with hunting trophies and traditional carved tables or in the new a la carte area. A wonderful evening in charming atmosphere continues after dinner in the company of fellow guests in the elegant Hubertushof hotel bar with comfy chairs and open fire place.
Hotel Hubertushof Wellness area
After a hard day’s skiing, relax, recover and feel good in the Hubertushof’s newly renovated Wellness area with magnificent views of Stuben and snow covered landscape. Reinvigorate tired muscles with a massage, swim in the 11m x 4m heated pool 30°C or relax in the Finnish sauna (90°C), soft sauna (60°C) with coloured light stimulation, steam bath, solarium and “dreamarium” relaxation room. Or if you’re in need of additional exercise you can work out on in the fitness room. The Wellness area is being completely renovated in time for 2009/10 ski season.
Hotel Hubertushof excellent facilities for children
The Hubertushof prides itself on being a home from home for children with special restaurant facilities - babies high chairs, kids decorated seats, kids menu and painting books – and kindergarten including FREE nanny service 5 days per week from 3pm until 9pm, children's table at dinner time, children's videos after dinner, baby cots, baby bath and baby monitors.
Skiing and boarding in Stuben am Arlberg
If St Anton am Arlberg is the ski capital of Austria, Stuben is the powder capital of the Arlberg. The north facing Albona holds untracked snow long after St Anton and Lech-Zurs have been skied out. There’s excellent skiing on the Albona in Stuben and easy access to the Arlberg’s 280km piste skiing and boarding and masses of challenging off-piste. The Hotel Hubertushof is a 5-10 minute walk from the village and Albonagrat ski lift or a 2 minute ride in the hotel’s courtesy shuttle bus.
Getting there
The pretty village of Stuben is approximately half way between St Anton and Lech and easily reached by road from Innsbruck (111km) or Zurich (183km) or take the train from Zurich Hbf or Innsbruck Hbf to Langan am Arlberg 3km west of Stuben.
