Both Morten and Jorn have been skiing since they were 6 years old, almost never missing a season. Twelve years ago, Jorn suffered a life threatening fall as he got trapped in bad weather, skied off a cliff without guidance, and broke his back in five places. The decision was then cemented to combine their passion and expertise to create elegant watches providing true functionality and protection for the owner.



Launched in 2006 by Morten Linde and Jorn Werdelin, LINDE WERDELIN watches and clip-on instruments have redefined the world of luxury sports watches by bringing together the very best of Swiss watchmaking and craftsmanship with innovative Danish design and avant-garde technology; for genuine usability.

LINDE WERDELIN is the first watch brand to effectively use analogue and digital technologies to their best advantage. A LINDE WERDELIN watch displays unique architectural details and angles. With the ultra-light sports instruments clipped on top, it transforms into the most advanced, professional-grade sports instrument.

LINDE WERDELIN watches use a mechanical automatic movement with a 42 hour power reserve. The standard models are available in 316L stainless steel or 18K gold, and are fitted with unidirectional bezels suitable for ski and dive timing. Each piece features a screw-in back and crown for optimal water resistance to 300m and it is rigorously tested to ensure shock resistance, accuracy and reliability.



LINDE WERDELIN has produced the Hard DLC limited editions which come in only 22 pieces worldwide. The Diamond-Like-Carbon (DLC) coating creates a surface up to three times harder than steel and second only to diamond in hardness. It provides virtual scratch and corrosion resistance, and guarantees extreme durability for a watch; which makes the LINDE WERDELIN watches perfect for the sporting environments.




Clipped seamlessly onto the watch, or carried with a strap on its own, the LINDE WERDELIN Land Instrument includes must-have functions that protect and guide the wearer while out skiing on or off the piste. It evaluates the risks of frostbite and avalanche, as well as records key bodily and environmental information (such as heart-rate, altitude and temperature). Milled from a solid block of aluminium, the Land Instrument is only 8 sheets of A4 paper in weight.
