Heli Skiing on Offer in Nepal 16-11-08

Himalayan Heli Ski Guides is to offer a number of trips across three regions of the Himalayas this season. Both private and mixed groups are available, with private groups varying in size from 1 person to 12 person per group, whilst mixed groups six in two groups of six, with two guides in per group. The area’s microclimate adds to the attraction of the trip, dumping snow most afternoons, leaving skiers with blue skies and fresh snow the following morning.

It is possible to venture to either side of Annapurna, Everest or the far west region of Humla. The region is noted for its proximate differences, with the Annapurna sanctuary and the nearby Humla offering distinct experiences. Furthermore, skiers will speed from the drop off points high up the mountain to warm, tropical settings within around 15 minutes. Humla was one of the last regions in Nepal to be opened up to westerners, who will value their experience of old Nepal.
