Mammouth Mountain received 18 inches of snow last weekend, allowing resort operators to open the resort 10 days early on November 3rd. With a snow base of 6-12 inches at Mammoth’s Broadway Express, augmented by artificial snowmaking, there is plenty to excite skiers and boarders alike.
Mammoth joins Killington and Sunday River in opening earlier, as well as Colorado’s Arapahoe Basin and Loveland ski area.
Special early season lift passes have been priced at $52 for adults, $39 for teens and $26 for children as the resort looks to entice skiers to visit. Lift ticket and lodging packages are also available for as little as $99 per person per night.
