Solitude Unveils New High Speed Chairlifts04-10-08
The Solitude ski area has revealed two new chairlifts will be up and running in time for the new season. The Utah based ski area is replacing its current Apex double lift with the Apex Express, though the lift’s bottom terminal will remain unchanged. Meanwhile, the ‘Moonbeam Express’ will become the Moonbeam base area’s fourth ‘Moonbeam Lift’, with the latest upgrade providing a significant shift away from the original Moonbeam lift’s route and improved ascent time.
Both lifts are designed to make loading and unloading easier for passengers, and ensure that both Solitude Village and Moonbeam Centre will feature high speed lifts next season. With Solitude eager to cement its reputation for offering a family friendly experience, both lifts will provide direct access to Solitude’s intermediate terrain.
