Vail Resorts Not Included in Colorado Ski Map22-10-08
Colorado Ski Country USA has published a new map of the region’s ski resorts – but four resorts are notably absent. Beaver Creek , Breckenridge , Keystone and Vail are all missing from the map, following the decision of Vail Resorts to end its Ski Country membership. Vail Resorts said they left the trade group as they felt it spent too much time on marketing and not enough time on public policy, meaning there are now 22 resorts on the Ski Country map as opposed to the previous 26.
Ski Country spokeswoman Jennifer Rudolph confirmed the new maps were reprinted so as to reflect the group’s current membership, whilst declaring the Ski Country’s hope that their relationship with Vail Resorts could be resurrected.
