Daműls-Mellau has plenty of good accommodation to suit all budgets ranging from 4-star luxury superior hotels to self-catering apartments, and plenty of ski-in, ski-out accommodation high in the ski area above Daműls.

Accommodation in Daműls and Mellau

Daműls has thirteen hotels, most impressive of which, in the 4-star category, are Hotel Gasthof Adler in the village centre, the slopeside Hotel Daműlserhof, Alpenstern and s’Landle in Upper Daműls. Other ski-in, ski-out hotels, all rated 3-stars, include the Walliser Stube at the bottom of the Uga chairlift and, higher up in the ski area, the Hotel Gasthof Walisgaden, Berggasthof Elsenalpstube and Berggasthof Sonnenheim. Mellau has seven hotels, the best of which by far, is the remarkably good 4-star superior Sonne Lifestyle Resort wellness hotel in the centre of the village. The best 3-star hotels are Hotel Bären and Hotel Engel, both of which are centrally located, as is the unpronounceable Bio Wohlfűlhaus Naze’s Hut which is the best bed and breakfast guest house in Mellau.

Hotel Gastof Adler

The 4-star Hotel Gastof Adler Damüls is situated in a prime position in the centre of Damüls. Tastefully decorated throughout, the Gasthof Adler successfully combines the best of traditional and contemporary style décor. Hotel Damülser Hof

The 4-star Hotel Damülser Hof is a family friendly hotel in Oberdamüls and close to the ski slopes. One of the pistes to the village runs past the hotel, making it an easy ski-in at the end of the day. The Hotel interior is traditional Austrian elegance with softly lit public areas with an intimacy from numerous fireplaces. The Hotel has a choice of reasonably priced accommodation. Hotel Gasthof Walisgaden

The 3-star Hotel Gasthof Walisgaden in Damüls is situated on a sun-drenched slope high in the Damüls-Mellau ski area at an altitude of 1,700m. Built in 1932, the Hotel Gasthof Walisgaden was fully refurbished in 2004. It offers 55 beds and seating for 120 people in the restaurant.
