Montafon Ski Schools & Guiding

Montafon has several ski schools teaching alpine skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing. There are also eight kindergartens with extensive childcare facilities including the impressive Dreamland facility on Hochjoch and Bella Bambini children’s world in Silvretta Nova.

There are ski schools operating on each of the four main ski areas and from most villages in the valley, the main ones being NTC Snowsports Academy (Schruns), Snowsport School (St Gallenkirch-Gortipohl), Ski & Snowboard School Silvretta Nova (Gaschurn-Partenen), Ski ‘n Snowboard School (Gargellen) and Snowsport School Golm.

Dreamland is an impressive kindergarten next to Alpin Ski Sport Centre on Hochjoch with 5800m² outdoor play area (and 250m²) with magic carpets and a fun ski circuit that introduces kids to skiing in a fun way while also guaranteeing that they learn useful skills. Child care is available daily (including Saturdays) from 10:00 – 15:30, including lunch and hire of equipment.

Bella Bambini children’s world in Silvretta Nova has an outdoor play area with magic carpet lift, indoor area and all-day child minding available for children from 4 years at Bella Nova restaurant nearby.

Gargellen kindergarten offers child care for kids aged 2 -3 years (4 hours), a childrens’ ski school for 3-5 years (2 hour lessons) and 5-17 years (4 hours). Families skiing on Golm can leave children aged 3-5 years in kindergarten from 09:30 – 16:00 Sunday – Friday; first hour free then EUR 3.50 for every ½ hour.
