Banff Lake Louise Ski Schools & Guiding

Lake Louise Ski School is one of Canada’s largest and has an excellent kids program.

Each resort has a ski and snowboard school and Lake Louise Ski School—one of Canada’s largest—is located at the base area, in the lower level of Whiskyjack Lodge. Group lessons start at age 13 and older, and lesson times are 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, and 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm.

There are excellent facilities for the younger skier with the Kid Ski & Shreddies for ages 5–12 (ski) and 7–12 (shreddies). Lesson times are 10:00 am–12:00 pm, and 1:15 pm–3:15 pm. The upper limit on a ski group size is eight. The Kinderski program for ages three and four has to be booked through daycare. Parents can book a supervised lunch for their children.
