Stoneham is one of the three largest ski and snowboard areas in the
province of Québec, although it is still quite small compared to U.S.
resorts.
Set in a horseshoe-shaped valley, it is well sheltered from
the harsh eastern Canada winds, something you may well be grateful for.
It’s also known for having an extensive network of illuminated
night-skiing trails, 17 in total, covering 184 acres (74 ha), and being
so close to Québec City, people often come here for a night out.
