Whistler Getting There

Whistler-Blackcomb is located in the Coast Mountain Range of Whistler, British Columbia, on Canada’s west coast just 90 miles (145 km) north of Vancouver.

Transfer time from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is around two and a half hours by road - or 4.5 hours from Seattle. The route follows Highway 99 North—known as the “Sea to Sky Highway” for its panoramic views of Howe Sound and the Coast Mountains, as it curves northward from Horseshoe Bay to Whistler. Flying times from overseas to Vancouver are just under 10 hours from Europe (London, Amsterdam, and Frankfurt) and 8–12 hours from the Far East (Hong Kong and Japan).

There is no rail connection (though one will open for the 2010 Winter Olympics), but other options include a regular scheduled bus service and limo hire.
