Chamonix Beginner Skiing

There are several short nursery slopes in Chamonix town, and a few nice blues in Le Tour, but this is not a great resort for beginners.

Chamonix is not an ideal place to learn to ski, although there are several small nursery slopes serviced by short drag lifts in Chamonix town which are suitable for young children and introductory classes. After that beginners need to go to Le Tour where there is a nice network of progressive blues which have been further opened up by the new lift from Vallorcine; the Forêt Verte (T19) run down through the trees is a fine option.
