The best restaurants for traditional Savoyard food in Meribel are the Galette, Refuge and the Fromagerie. Evolution is a new and very stylish dark wood cyber-café/restaurant serving international food and Chez Kiki is still the place to go for steaks. The highly-regarded Blanchot up at Altiport has both a traditional and modern restaurant which is also good for lunch.
In the middle of Meribel is La Taverne, a lively and atmospheric place with an innovative and extensive menu. If you're feeling homesick, there's always Pizza Express.
In Mottaret Le Grenier serves good, no-nonsense
French fare at reasonable prices and the cellar restaurant of Au Temps
Perdu comes highly recommended. The Pizzeria Mottaret offers a variety
of first rate pizza and pasta dishes.
