There are some appropriately plush hotel options in Cortina, but also good two to four-star hotels and cosy B&Bs outside of town.

There are some appropriately plush hotel options – the Cristallo and the Miramonti Majestic are Cortina’s five star hotels - as well as plenty of smaller, mid-range offerings. Comfortable, spacious and right in the centre of town, the Alaska is one of the most usefully located of Cortina’s four star hotels. The handful of two star hotels fall mostly into the ‘meublè’ bracket – no restaurant; the same goes for about half of the numerous three star options.

Further out, family-run B&B’s give you home cooking and a cosier experience. Out of high season, consider an outlying place if you plan to visit with a car – that way you overcome bus constraints and you won’t find traffic and parking a problem round town.
