Val Gardena Beginner Skiing

You need go no further than Alpe di Siusi. Excellent nursery slopes and perfect pistes to progress to, within a very secure environment, and the view’s are great.

The range across the three villages and the easy access to beginner slopes adds up to beginner/early intermediate perfection.

The base villages have easy-access beginner slopes, with good slopes to progress to. Selva’s extensive nursery slopes are very close to town; Santa Cristina has a group of slopes at Monte Pana as well as a true nursery slope in town; Ortisei, as well as being a good starting point for Alpe di Siusi, has nursery slopes on the edge of town as well.
The only critiscism - that the various nursery slopes are remote from each other - is barely an issue: once you've found your feet, the charm of travelling on skis or snowboard through the area, using beginner-friendly link routes will be one of the factors that brings you back for more.
