Nendaz Ski Schools & Guiding

Nendaz is a town with a progressive freeride scene driven by local champion snowboarder Alex Coudray. To make the most of the terrain get an instructor or a guide.
 


There are four ski schools in Nendaz which all offer top-notch tuition. Adults can choose a one day lesson for around £48, while six days cost £240. Children as young as two years old can spend half or whole days in ski lessons, playing games on skis. There are also two crèches in Nendaz, the second of which opened for the 2008/2009 season to meet increasing demand.

Guiding in Nendaz

There is a mountain guide office based in Nendaz that offers ski guiding as well ski touring and heli-skiing. Also available are a host of other alpine skills such as rock climbing, and trekking. The cost of hiring a guide for the day gets cheaper the more people you can split the cost between up to four. For one person, prices start at £295 per day and between four people the prices work out at a more reasonable £85 per head.
