Verbier is 170 km (106 miles) from Geneva and 300 km (186 miles) from Zurich airports. The drive from Geneva takes about 2 hours, with over half the distance on motorway. A regular post bus runs to the centre, connecting with train services to Le Chable in the valley. There is also a gondola from there to ease day-visitor road traffic into the village.
