There are 260 units on the mountain, ranging from hotel-style rooms through to five-bedroom homes.

The houses are scattered throughout the resort, with access to skiing and snowboarding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. All of the houses are located on beautiful wooded lots, and some boast spectacular views of Martis Valley. Rooms and condos are not named, but on the website you can check out what you are getting. The houses are named, and range from three bedrooms with two bathrooms through to five bedrooms with three bathrooms.

All lodging guests can use Northstar’s free on-site shuttle service and the Swim and Racquet Club. For further information on prices and availability refer to Northstar’s website, www.northstarattahoe.com. Alternatively, there are many hotels and motels in Truckee, about six miles (9.7 km) away.
