Smugglers' Notch

Guests can arrange lessons at the Guest Services Desk. The S.S.U. has been voted the best ski school in North America on more than one occasion, reflecting the resort’s focus on children and beginner skiers. A wide range of lessons are available, including all-day ski lessons for 3-15 year olds, and all-day snowboard lessons for 4–15 year olds, amongst others. Lunchtime supervision allows parents the whole day for themselves.

All day “camps” cost US$95 per child, but only US$69 per child per day with paid “Club Smugglers” packages. Ninety-minute group lessons for kids aged six and older, and for adults, cost US$36. Lessons start at 10:00 am and noon. Children's ski and snowboard camps run from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm daily. Group sizes vary, with a maximum of ten. The S.S.U. can also arrange guiding and teach telemark skiing.
