Steamboat has nearly 19,000 beds, including 25 hotels, though most lodgings come in the form of condominiums. There are also a number of houses in town that can be rented, as well as B&Bs and catered chalets.

Steamboat has nearly 19,000 beds, including 25 hotels, like the new, luxurious 327-room Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel located in the heart of the Mountain Village, just 120 yards (120 m) from the slopes (though it’s not ski-in/ski-out). This US$80 million complex has an outdoor heated pool and hot tub. The Sheraton and Best Western also offer top-of-the-range hotel, motel and lodging options.

Most lodgings in fact come in the form of condominiums. Condominiums start at ski-in, ski-out distance and move away from the ski area back to Steamboat Springs. There are also a number of houses in town that can be rented, as well as B&Bs and catered chalets. Steamboat Central Reservations has all the lodging options and a rating system from 1 to 4 (from limited amenities to the highest level), plus a quality rating from EX (excellent) to NR (not rated) and a price guide showing fluctuations in costs depending on season.

Steamboat Grand Hotel - 4+ star

The Steamboat Grand is a 327 room luxury hotel, in a supreme slope side location opposite the Silver Bullet gondola, the ski slopes and ski school giving great access to Steamboat’s fantastic mountain. The Grand also provides a complimentary shuttle to downtown Steamboat.

Trappeur’s Crossing is made up of 4 properties: Aspen Lodge, Champagne Lodge, Timberline Lodge and Trappeur’s Lodge all offering affordable accommodation of a good standard. The properties are located at the base of the slopes, just 2 blocks from the Steamboat gondola and offer a resort shuttle for getting to and from the ski slopes and around Steamboat Springs.
