The Sun Valley Ski and Snowboarding School has some 240 experienced
instructors.
The minimum age for young children’s classes is four. An
adult one-day (two-hour) lesson will cost US$44; five consecutive days
(10 hours) US$160; children’s one-day (four hours) costs US$85
including lunch; five consecutive days (20 hours) including lunch is
US$360, and an all-day private lesson for one person is US$425. Many
other clinics and configurations are available. Lift tickets are not
included in the lesson price. There is also the Sun Valley Nordic Ski
School with 25 miles (40 km) of beautifully groomed tracks and five
miles (8 km) of snowshoe trails.
