There are three lodges: Red Pine Lodge, Lookout Cabin and Sun Lodge.
Red Pine Lodge, at the top of the gondola, offers grills, sandwiches,
pizzas and soups inside or on the sun deck.
Lookout Cabin is more
upscale and open lunchtimes only, with high-quality service and
panoramic views from 9,000 feet (2,700 m). It was voted Mountain
Restaurant of the Year 2001 and 2002 by Good Skiing and Snowboarding
Guide and reservations are preferred. Sun Lodge is a great place to
bring your lunch and enjoy the deck. There are some food and beverages
available here, but this is not a full-service lodge. Other
possibilities are Dreamscape Grill at the base of Daybreak lift for
burgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches, or Viking Yurt at the base of
Saddleback Express lift for a gourmet dinner at 8,000 feet (2,400 m).
