Vail caters for well-heeled skiers, especially families with teenage children, and offers a wide range of accommodations for every taste and budget .

Vail is bustling, smart and provides guests with spacious hotels, quaint bed and breakfast inns, and comfortable homes and condominiums. The top hotels are the Lodge at Vail and the Sonnenalp Resort. The Lionshead Inn is popular and close to the Eagle Bahn gondola, while Vail Cascades Resort and Spa is great fun with lots of sports facilities.

Where to stay is a matter of personal choice and depth of pocket but if you are splashing out—and why not, it’s a vacation—then either Sonnenalp Resort or the Lodge at Vail would be recommended. On the condo front, Vail Raquet Club has plenty of well equipped spaces but they are 15 minutes by shuttle bus from the main action.

The Lodge at Vail - 5 star

Vail’s best and most famous hotel deserves every accolade it gets, the Lodge is fantastically located in the heart of Vail Village, a supreme standard of service and high quality rooms, plus one of the top restaurants in Colorado onsite at The Wildflower.

Vail Cascade Resort and Spa - 4 star

Located in a peaceful, self contained area just outside Vail Village, the Cascade Resort and Spa offers wonderfully high standard hotel rooms as well as 1, 2 and 3 bedroom condos. One of Cascade’s unique features is the Chair 20 ski lift right outside the back door which is used almost exclusively by Cascade's guests.

Mountain Haus - 4 star

Located in the pedesrianised Vail Village and close to Vail’s famous covered bridge, the Mountain Haus offers a great standard of accommodation in a variety of unit sizes and in a fantastic location. The property is close to the bars, restaurants, shops and most importantly the slopes of Vail.

Antlers at Vail - 3 star

Antlers is the perfect family ski property, offering fantastic spacious and bright accommodation ranging from studios to 4 bedroom condominiums and is located in the newly renovated Lionshead area of Vail.
