Pas de la Casa is the bottom end of the market, aimed at a younger crowd most of whom want a long day on the slopes, non-stop après ski until the early hours a few hours sleep then start all over again.

Throughout Andorra most hotels offer half board rather than bed and breakfast and Pas de la Casa is no exception but the hotels here tend to be more basic than at other Grandvalira resorts like Soldeu or Encamp.

There are good basic four-star establishments like Magic and Himalaia which has the edge with its position on the edge of town, heated swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Or if you’re looking for something different try the four-star Alaska, which is a chic new aparthotel, while at the bottom end of the range there is the three-star Hotel Guinea or the undemanding two-star Hotel Panda.
