Soldeu

Soldeu is the ski capital of Andorra. Centrally situated in Grandvalira, Andorra’s biggest ski region, at a base altitude of 1,800m Soldeu is a charming village and vibrant ski resort, and considerably less boisterous than nearby Pas de la Casa.

Dominated by the Calbo family who have built many of its hotels and restaurants, and even one of its ski lifts, Soldeu boasts a lively après ski scene and has an excellent and chic reputation partly because it operates the best hotel and spa in the whole Grandvalira ski conurbation, the five-star Sport Hotel Hermitage.

From its two lifts TSD6 Soldeu or TC8 Soldeu, it’s possible to get up into the middle of the Grandvalira ski area quickly where you have a ski area extending some 193 km of runs between the six Andorran villages - Pas de la Casa Grau Roig, Soldeu, El Tarter, Canillo and Encamp - and 930m vertical (2,640m – 1,710m).
