There are six ski schools with state qualified instructors in Kitzbühel itself, and 15 in the Kitzbühel region as a whole.

The legendary Red Devils (www.rote-teufel.at) ski school has more than 200 instructors. It’s been run by Rudi Sailer since 1985. His famous brother Toni (the ‘Blitz from Kitz’, the first Alpine skier to win a hat-trick of Olympic gold medals, at Cortina in 1968) manages the Children's Ski School. The Red Devils also organises special group and racing schools. There are six ski schools with state qualified instructors in Kitzbühel itself, and 15 in the Kitzbühel region as a whole. These include Ski School Total, which includes video analysis, the Kitzbüheler Horn ski school, the Hahnenkamm Egger, and the Ski School Aurach. Kirchberg has three ski schools of which the largest are Skischule Kirchberg and Skischule Total.
