Mayrhofen–Hintertux
Summer skiing at Hintertux
Hintertux has an equally solid reputation (particularly in an age of diminishing glaciers) as an enduringly reliable location for summer skiing – a godsend for national ski teams anxious to maintain their skills without having to waste precious time travelling to mountain ranges in the southern hemisphere. Hintertux also attracts snowboarders to its summer snowboard camps.
Mayrhofen's nightlife
For those with sufficient energy to party and ski, the night-life can be decidedly lively. At the same time, the resort is acclaimed for the careful welcome it extends to young families.
