There is accommodation in all the Ski-Welt resorts, but generally
people opt to stay in the flagship village of Söll, which has 18 hotels
and numerous B&Bs, private rooms, apartments, farmhouses and a few
chalets: there are 4,000 beds in Söll alone.
There are few four-star hotels. The Greil offers a “pamper package” which includes a “sweat shack”, hay bath, and an “adventure shower”. The 700-year-0ld Postwirt claims to make “every guest feel like a king.” Some hotels, like the three-star Tulpe and the Gasthof Hochfilzer (where the “landlady is always good for a culinary surprise”) are right next to the lifts –a big advantage in Söll. The 16th century Gasthof Feldwebel has been newly renovated.
