St Anton Ski Resort Accommodation
St Anton's village centre is pedestrianised and offers a good choice of accommodation. Best known 4-star hotels are the Hotel Post, the Schwarzer Adler, the Sport Hotel and the Hotel Alte Post all offering high standards of accommodation in traditional Tirolean style, good food and with wellness facilities.
Less well known, but well worth considering, are the news style designer boutique hotels, the Hotel Montana, Hotel Rundeck and Pepi’s Ski Hotel, each of which has been substantially renovated and offers good quality hotel accommodation in central St Anton and an interesting alternative to the better known hotels.
The St. Antonerhof, the only 5-star hotel in St Anton, is situated on the main road on the edge of the village.

There are 5 distinct areas to consider when looking for accommodation: The area known as Dorf is central St Anton and most convenient for the ski lifts, ski school, shops, restaurants and bars. Oberdorf to the west and uphill is between 5-15 minutes walk to and from the centre of St Anton and the ski lifts, Nasserein to the east is about 10 minutes level walk to and from St Anton village centre (but with fast gondola access up the mountain directly from Nasserein) and St Jacob farther east is around 20 minutes (too far to) walk from St Anton Dorf, but there is a regular free bus service day and night.Most of the 8,900 tourist beds are in smaller family hotels and traditional guesthouses offering clean and comfortable accommodation, usually on a bed and breakfast basis. Some are located in the centre of the village but many more span the road between St. Anton and Nasserein and St. Jacob, which are connected to St Anton by a free bus service. While most of the accommodation is in hotels and private pensions, there are a small number of specilist tour operators who own and manage catered ski chalets in St Anton. such as Kaluma Travel who run Villa Montfort, which is 1-minute walk from the main street and 5-minutes walk to and from the ski lifts.
Acccommodation in villages near St Anton
Other villages nearby include the pretty village of St Christoph and Stuben.St Christoph, which is about 5-km west of St Anton, is home to the world-class 5-star Arlberg Hospiz and the comfortable 4-star Ski & Spa Hotel Maiensee, and connected to the main St Anton ski area via high speed ski lift to Galzig. At lucnh times or at the end of the day ski blue run 8 back from Galzig to St Christoph and the lively Hospiz Alm Restaurant.
Stuben is about 5km farther west (10km from St Anton) and offers a good choice of reasonably priced 3-star hotel accommodation such as the Hotel Post and Ski Hotel Mondschein. The Albona mountain above Stuben has runs down to Alp Rauz from where you can connect to the main St Anton ski area as well as skiing back to Stuben.
