Le Massif / Skiing & boarding

With only 43 trails, Le Massif doesn’t offer the same level of choice as other, larger resorts, but it holds its own in terms of vertical thrills. Around 25 percent of the trails are for beginners, mostly clustered around the east side of the resort, which is good, as you don’t get too many advanced skiers whizzing past you. Intermediates will focus mostly on the middle section of trails, where there are some good blues, and advanced and experts swap between the middle section and west section, where blacks and double blacks are scattered.

National Alpine Ski Training Center
The National Alpine Ski Training Center has an excellent reputation and is the only facility of its kind in Québec. They train the Canadian ski team, so you’re in good hands. As well as programs and private lessons, the Iniski-Inisurf is very popular, with a two-hour lesson, lift ticket and equipment rental all included—programs at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.

Lift passes in Le Massif
A full-day lift pass costs Cdn$50 for adults (18 ), Cdn$39 for seniors (65 ) and students (17–23), and Cdn$26 for juniors (7–16). Children aged six and under ski free. Half-day passes (afternoon) cost Cdn$39 for adults (18 ), Cdn$30 for seniors (65 ) and students (17–23), and Cdn$22 for juniors (7–16).

A three-day pass costs Cdn$139 for adults (18 ), Cdn$109 for seniors (65 ) and students (17–23), and Cdn$71 for juniors (7–16). The Carte-Blanche multipass allows skiers and boarders to ski at Stoneham and Mont-Sainte-Anne. Prices exclude local taxes.
