Stoneham / Skiing & boarding

With 32 trails spread over four mountains, the resort caters to all levels of skier and snowboarder.
At night it has 17 lit trails, the largest night-skiing network in Canada. Beginners have less choice than any of the other levels, with only 20 percent of trails dedicated to them. However, there are some long green trails that help beginners find their ski legs. Intermediate blue trails are dotted about the four ski areas, so you can ski from one mountain to another. Extreme skiing/boarding enthusiasts have access to the most trails, with the majority of double black diamond trails on mountain number 3. Three new trails have recently been designed specially for experts, forming an extreme zone on mountain number 4. The two terrain parks include a 0.6-mile (1-km) boardercross course and there’s also a superpipe with 17-foot (5-m) walls, 15 rails, and 10 tabletops.

Stoneham Sports School has 150 fully qualified instructors, with private and group lessons offered daily, as well as programs with special equipment for skiers with disabilities.

Full-day (9:00 am–6:00 pm) lift passes cost Cdn$37 for adults (23–64), Cdn$28 for teens (14–22) and seniors (65 ), and Cdn$16 for children (7–13), with sixes and under skiing free. Day/night skiing from 12:30 pm–10:00 pm costs Cdn$33 for adults (23–64), Cdn$27 for teens (14–22) and seniors (65 ), and Cdn$15 for children (7–13). Night skiing only for one day (3:00–10:00 pm) costs Cdn$21 for adults (23–64), Cdn$19 for teens (14–22) and seniors (65 ), and Cdn$13 for children (7–13). A five-day pass costs Cdn$153 adults (23–64), Cdn$117 for teens (14–22) and seniors (65 ), and Cdn$67 for children (7–13). The Carte-Blanche multipass allows skiers/boarders to ski at Mont-Sainte-Anne, Le Massif, and Le Relais too.
