La Plagne is an excellent place to learn: all of the high-altitude resort
centres have their own nursery slopes and quick learners will swiftly
develop a taste for exploring as they will be able to move across the
mountain very easily. There are lots of gentle motorway blues in the
central area with a particularly good area being under the Arpette
chair. The quieter slopes leading down to Montalbert are also a good
option for beginners.
