Intermediate

Except perhaps for the chutes in Saddle Basin and the terrain achieved by walking to the top of the mountain, there’s little that’s truly unsuitable for reasonably strong intermediates: 40% of the terrain is judged to be suitable for them.

Easy Rider (3.5km - formerly Triple Treat) has undergone major trail enhancement over the past two years, and now offers a wider trail for less confident skiers. The main intermediate groomed trails on Home Basin are Main Street and the new Big Skite run. These are up to 80m wide, allowing a good run before merging with Easy Rider to reach the bottom of the six-seat chair.

Raffills Run and Pete’s Treat in Saddle Basin have been adjusted to provide one major 2.5km groomed blue trail - a motorway run from the top of the quad to the bottom. The Saddle has become an area that intermediate skiers can also now enjoy, while advanced skiers can still take advantage of the chutes and natural quarterpipes.
