There are two ski school offices just a few metres from the cable car in Arosa - the Swiss Ski & Snowboard School Arosa and smaller ABC Snow Sports school both offer private ski and snowboard lessons as well as group tuition.

Advanced & expert

Compared to other big name resorts the Arosa ski area is small, 60kms of marked pistes including just a dozen reds and a few blacks, which is easily skied in a day by advanced skiers and aggressive intermediates but there are quite good off-piste opportunities.

Arosa’s ski area is fine for early intermediate skiers, but if you’re a strong intermediate with a penchant for long cruisy reds and prefer not to ski the same run twice then Arosa will not be first choice for a week long vacation.

Getting there
