try Edwards and Avon within six miles (10 km) of Beaver, or even
consider Vail, 10 miles (16 km) away. Of the hotels, The Pines Lodge,
The Inn at Beaver Creek, and The Park Hyatt are top notch—the latter
was recently rated the best hotel in a ski town by Powder magazine. The
Ritz-Carlton at Bachelor Gulch further down the valley is another
promising addition with 237 guest rooms and a state-of-the-art spa and
fitness center.
