Beaver Creek

Grouse Mountain has moguls, super steep bumps, and gladed terrain. The trails are very long and serviced by a very fast chair.

The Golden Eagle trail is part of the prestigious Birds of Prey Downhill Course and offers extreme steeps and bumps in the late season. It was specifically designed for the 1999 World Cup Men’s Downhill and Super G races. Take the Birds of Prey Chair (No.8) down to Red Tail Camp.

Royal Elk Glades, off the Grouse Mountain via Express Lift (carrying 10) will give you the best powder. To get the most of Beaver at this level, take the Centennial Lift (No.6), then Birds of Prey Express Lift (No.8) to the summit. Ski or snowboard down Golden Eagle. Take the Grouse Mountain Lift (No.10) for several expert mogul trails, trees, and powder stashes.

Out-of-bounds terrain can be accessed by hiking or skiing past the boundary ropes. Be warned though, if you ski outside of boundary ropes you are on your own; no ski patrol or rescue service is provided. Advanced and expert skiers are encouraged to go with a guide to find some of the mountain’s best powder stashes and discover where the locals ski and ride.
