Broken Arrow Café in Arrowhead Village is fine, with its outdoor deck seating and a full-service bar serving traditional American fare from its popular outdoor grill. Redtail Camp at the finish of men’s downhill course has an indoor-outdoor barbecue and an expansive deck, and Grundy’s Camp in Bachelor’s Gulch also has an outdoor BBQ. Of the five mountain restaurants, Spruce Saddle is located at the top of the Centennial Express lift (chair No.6) and offers spectacular views of the Gore Range and surrounding White River National Forest.
For dinner high upon the mountain, try the aforementioned Beano’s Cabin. This rustic log-style restaurant is open to the public for dinner only, with a fixed-price menu. Guests are transported to this unique getaway via snowcat-drawn sleigh. Allie’s Cabin is also a sophisticated dining option beginning with a snowcat-drawn sleighride and finishing with after-dinner drinks nestled in overstuffed chairs by the fire. With its cathedral ceilings and cozy river rock fireplace, the cabin boasts views of the entire village. In the winter, Allie’s is open to the public for dinner only and has a fixed-price menu.
