Classes
run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with a maximum group size of ten. Children
as young as three are taught and lunchtime supervision is available to
allow parents full days to themselves. A 45-minute introductory lesson
for three to four year-olds—Small Fry Try—costs US$65. For kids aged
four to six, the Mini Camp morning lesson costs US$50, lunch US$15, and
afternoon lesson US$50. Ski Camp for ages six to 14 is slightly
cheaper, and half-day adult group lessons cost US$49 per person;
private lessons cost from US$195 for two hours to US$475 for a full
day. Thanks to the terrain on offer, Big Sky also attracts specialist
“steep and deep” and extreme ski clinics whose dates are advertised on
the resort website.
