In a group lesson the different levels are clearly explained and you will be put with the group that best suits your ability. The Foundation Series covers levels 1–4 (green and green to blue trails) and the Performance Series covers levels 5 and above (blue to black and black trails). The Mountain Experience program takes intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders to the bowls on Jupiter Peak.
At the Kids Mountain School the instructors are experts in creating a fun and safe learning environment. Group lessons include lunch and lift privileges, but your child must be three years old. The Burton Chopper Center allows 7–12-year-olds to practice their newly learned techniques on a trampoline.
The National Ability Center has an extensive skiing program for individuals with disabilities, and works in cooperation with the Park City Ski and Snowboard School. All of the instructors are specially trained in the adaptive techniques of 3-track, 4-track, monoski, biski, and guiding blind skiers. Lessons are conducted on the main slopes of the ski resort. For more information visit the National Ability Center online www.nationalabilitycenter.org.
