Snowbird

The Snowbird Mountain School at Snowbird Center and Cliff Lodge has been going for 30 years, so the 200 certified instructors have had plenty of experience. The upper limit on ski group size is eight persons and the minimum age for young children is three years. Supervised lunch is included with all full-day kids’ lessons.

The school runs a variety of camps throughout the season for men, women, adults and children from 4-day women’s ski camps or 3-day boarding camps, through to ski steeps camps for advanced intermediates to experts.

For the more adventurous there are guided backcountry tours to a number of spectacular areas around Little Cottonwood Canyon. Experienced guides (members of the Snowbird Ski Patrol) will show you the joys of ski touring (including all equipment and lunch), but you’ll need a certain level of fitness to enjoy them.
