Stowe

Stowe has one ski and snowboarding school based at Spruce Peak.

It has over 200 instructors offering tuition from beginner basics to advanced skills. There are a variety of different classes for adults (Levels 1–9) offering up to two 90-minute lessons per day from 10:00 am and 1:00 pm including the benefit of extra attention and feedback for smaller groups of up to three adults.

There are full-day programs (including lunch and lift pass) from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm for children aged 4–6 and 7–12, teaching skiing and snowboarding for all levels. In holiday periods, advanced skiers and riders aged 11–14 can explore the terrain with Holiday Adventure Camp and receive coaching in bumps, glades, steeps, and freestyle terrain.

The minimum age for ski school lessons is three. Cubs Day Care offers a licensed child care facility for kids aged six weeks to six years, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, including a nutritious lunch and ski lesson option for children aged three and over. For reservations call 802-253-3000

Also in response to the growing interest in telemarking the resort has introduced Tele Tuesdays, a successful clinic aimed at aspiring telemark skiers.
