Albuquerque International Sunport, the nearest international airport, is about 135 miles (217 km) away, which translate into a 2 hours 15 minutes’ journey by road (Highways 64 or 68).
The town of Taos, 20 miles away (32 km), sits on a branch of the Rio Grande in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, near Wheeler Mountain (the highest point in New Mexico) and 55 miles (86 km) from Santa Fe.
