Canada's skiing rivals that of the United States and Europe, with awesome scenery and varied resorts from big to small with efficient ski resort infrastructure, good hospitality and international cuisine, but there are not nearly as many other skiers to share the mountains with.

Canadian Resort of the month - Banff Lake Louise

Banff Lake Louise is one of Canada’s largest ski areas, has some of the most beautiful ski scenery in the world and a great mix of trails for every level of skier. Lake Louise's Back Bowls, Sunshine's Delirium Dive and heli-skiing are just three of the exciting options for advanced skiers but the bulk of Lake Louise trails - 45 percent - are intermediate . Lake Louise is also an ideal beginners resort: every lift has an easy way down, so novices can ski the whole mountain . Lake Louise Ski School is one of Canada’s largest and has an excellent kids program. Louise is a compact little town with good amenities, Sunshine Village lies high up the mountain, and Norquay is Banff's family playground; there are plenty of accommodations and many outdoor activities . This is a world-class ski destination.
