Hotel Reselehof

The Hotel Reselehof is the oldest ´Guesthouse´ in St Anton; the original house was built in 1525! Now fully renovated, the charming Hotel Reselehof offers bed & breakfast in a convenient ski-in, ski-out location close to the gondola in Nasserein and just a short walk to St Anton’s village centre.

    Carousel

Gunnar Munthe, the founder and former owner of the legendary Krazy Kanguruh après ski bar for more than 30 years, acquired the Reselehof guesthouse in 2006. Gunnar and his wife Marie spent the next four years carefully renovating the property, which reopened its doors In December 2010. The renovation has been worth the wait; the newly refurbished building retains its old 15th Century charm, but is now tastefully furnished in a contemporary style.

    The Rooms

The Hotel Reselehof has 13 rooms, each attractively furnished and with its own unique character. Every room has en-suite facilities, a flat screen TV and free internet access. There is a choice of single, twin, double and triple rooms, but even though Marie and Gunnar are delighted to entertain families, the accommodation is designed mainly with adults in mind rather than families with young children. Although it's only a short walk from the centre of St Anton, Nasserein is very much quieter at night so you're assured of a good night's sleep.

    Wellness

The Hotel Reselehof has a small wellness area comprising a Finnish sauna, infrared cabins, showers, relaxation rooms and soothing background music to help you relax after a hard day on the mountains.

    Dining

The Hotel Reselehof is a bed & breakfast hotel buffet, but the attractive breakfast room is also open for coffee and tea and cakes in the afternoon. This is all included in the price. With so many good restaurants on and off the mountain, Marie and Gunnar will be pleased to recommend restaurants for lunch and dining out in the evening, and to help with table reservations.

    Your personal ski guides

Marie and Gunnar take particular pleasure in skiing with their guests. They will help arrange your ski rental, ski lessons and ski lift passes and offer a personal ski guiding service that is part of your stay at Hotel Reselehof. But remember that the Reselehof has only 13 rooms, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Skiing in St Anton and the Arlberg

St Anton is recognised as the ski capital of Austria and one of world's best ski resorts. The invariably snow sure Arlberg ski area includes nearly 300km of piste skiing, served by a state of the art lift system and masses of off-piste for experts. St Anton also has plenty of good restaurants on and off the mountain and great apres ski - and if you're lucky to be staying at Hotel Reselehof who better to advise you on après ski than the former owner of the Krazy Kanguruh?

Getting to St Anton and Hotel Reselehof

St Anton and the Reselehof are easily reached by road or rail from nearest airports Innsbruck and Zürich. Although Innsbruck airport (one hour by car) is closest, Zurich is a major international airport with many more flights and is only two hours by car from St Anton. Friedrichshafen airport is also nearby but with fewer flight connections. Fast intercity express trains run frequently from Innsbruck and Zurich to St Anton and there are several reliable transfer companies.
