Eurostar Partners with TGV

Eurostar is working in partnership with the international high-speed train service TGV Lyria to launch a new weekly service from St Pancras International and Ashford International to the Valais region in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

The new route will commence on Saturday 22 December and run until Saturday 13 April 2013. There will be a connection in Lille from the Eurostar trains to the high-speed TGV Lyria service.

Connections are available from Lille to Aigle, Martigny, Visp and Brig stations for quick onward transfers to Swiss ski resorts including Verbier, Zermatt, Saas Fee and Gstaad.

Passengers will be allowed an extra item of luggage in addition to the normal luggage allowance - such as a pair of skis or a snowboard - at no extra cost.

Return fares start from £189 and Standard Premier fares start from just £299 return. Standardw Premier offers spacious seating as well as light meals and drinks served at the seats.
