New Snow and Music Festival For Andorra

31 October 2012

The Snowboxx Ski Festival (www.snowboxx.com) – dubbed Ibiza on Ice - will explode in Arinsal from March 22 to 28 2013. Snowboxx, which promises ‘Big air and big beats’ is brought to you by Mainstage Travel, will include torch-lit night-time skiing to the sounds of a DJ set pumping out from an open-air mountain terrace, a Snowboxx-only night at the 1,500-venue Surf nightclub, pub crawls and barbecues and more music during the day.

Prices start from £199.99 which includes a five day VallNord lift pass, three star accommodation and a wrist band granting free entry to all events thrown in. Flights and transfers can be arranged separately. Alternatively Mainstage is also laying on a coach for those who want to travel by road - the cost is £140 - while groups are also being invited to join the Boxxcar Rally - its name for the 14-hour drive from the UK to Arinsal.

"Just because they're not paying top dollar, it doesn't mean they want an experience that's cheap and tacky. At the same time, they'll probably be surprised that a skiing holiday, which most people think is quite expensive, can actually be affordable, let alone with all the extras we are putting in. It's going to be one hell of a party. Arinsal is a hedonist's winter paradise, thanks to its ski runs, awesome nightlife and bars which takes advantage of Andorra's duty-free status to sell spirits and beer at rock bottom prices," said a statement from the organisers.
