New Gladed Runs At Stoneham

21 November 2012

Stoneham ski area near Quebec has upped the number of trails to 41. This includes 10 glades for varying levels of skier ability with the development of two new gladed ski runs this winter.

La Biche is an intermediate trail in the Family Zone. It sits beside three other similar glades for all levels of skier - La Caribou, La Wapiti and L'Orignal.

L'Urubu is a new piste classified as a double-black diamond. It offers a 300m descent over a steep vertical drop ans is definitely for the more advanced skier.

And for those of you who didn't already know, La Biche is the French word for "doe" and L'Urubu is the name of a bird of prey. Always glad to help.
