Stuben am Arlberg Hotels

The Apres Post Hotel is a 4-star hotel which also has 3 star accommodation in an annex, is located near the bottom of the village just a short walk from the lifts and pistes. Its South facing sun terrace attracts skiers for lunch and its Hannes Schneider bar is a major apres-ski hang-out. It also has a spa and sauna, plus a small heated outdoor swimming pool (the steps into the pool and all the changing facilities and sitting out areas are inside the wellness centre so you won’t get cold, although it does feel a bit strange and not entirely environmentally-responsible to be swimming in steaming hot water as snow falls down on top of you.) The Apres Post is much expanded and modernised, but the core of the hotel is the original Stuben Post Hotel, which has been a landmark of the village for hundreds of years. The ski hire shop directly under the hotel’s sun terrace is highly rated. The hotel is also known for the quality of its wines and has a famous wine cellar.

Hotel Hubertushof is a 4 star hotel at the top of the village but with direct access to the piste through a lift, with an indoor poool and full spa, sauna and wellness facilities. Its restaurant is very highly rated for high class gourmet food.

Hotel Mondschein & Chalet Mondschein is another 4 star hotel, in a quiet location near the centre of the village, close to Stuben Ski School office. It has an indoor pool and wellness facilities. The chalet is a slightly cheaper annex 5 minutes walk from the main hotel but guests staying there can use the main hotel’s facilities.

Das Johann used to be called the Hotel Garni Alberg. It is a 4 star hotel with a sauna and a Turkish steam bath and is less than 200m from the Albona 1 lift. In good conditions you can ski back to the door.

The 3 star Hotel Arlberg Stuben used to be called the Sport Hotel. It’s situated very close to the ski lift.

The Chesa Lavadina is a 3 star hotel, with a sauna and a terrace, that is also very close to the lift (you can almost ski back to it in good conditions).
